Why one shared notice board beats a hundred emails

PN
Priya Nair ยท Office Manager

"Payroll cut-off moved to the 25th this month. I need every single person in the company to know โ€” not just the ones who happen to open my email. And I need it to still be visible next week, when someone forgets."

Email gets buried, and not everyone reads it the same day. An Announcement lives right inside the CRM, so anyone who logs in sees it. No separate tool, and no missed message.

You can also mark an announcement urgent, or pin it, so it doesn't scroll away and get lost.

What you'll be able to do
Post one notice for your whole organization, with a priority level and an optional expiry date, so everyone sees the same message at the same time.

What's inside an announcement

An announcement has a title, a body message (the main text), a priority level, and an optional expiry date. Only Admins โ€” users with full setup access โ€” can create, edit, or delete announcements. Everyone else just reads them.

Priority levelsChoose Info (blue), Warning (amber), or Urgent (red). The color tells people how seriously to treat it.
Pin to topA pinned announcement stays at the top of the list, even after newer ones are posted.
Expires AtThis is optional. Set a date, and the announcement stops showing after that day. Handy for a notice that's only good for one week.

1 Post an urgent, pinned announcement

Open AnnouncementsGo to the Announcements page from the main menu.
Click New AnnouncementAdmin only. Fill in a Title and a Body message.
Set the priority and pin itChoose "Urgent", then turn on "Pin to top" so it stays visible above everything else.
Add an expiry (optional)Set an "Expires At" date if the notice should disappear on its own later.
Save and check the listSave, then confirm your announcement shows at the top with a red "Urgent" badge.
